Bio

Singer-songwriter Stephanie Jeck’s acoustic indie-folk announces a raw hopefulness. Leading with solo piano, Stephanie paints an elegant dreamscape of sound and meaning that resonates with what hides just below the surface. Stephanie’s themes of journeys still being taken and processes that are themselves the goal evolve through a nuanced simplicity that is starkly beautiful and hauntingly real. In addition to writing, recording, and performing this Nashville native transplanted to Auburn navigates the family landscape with her husband and two children.

Take the airiness of Sarah McLachlan, add in the musical imagination of Regina Spektor, plus a dash of Tori Amos vibe, and you’d get close to the essence of Stephanie Jeck. Though strains of these influences are evident in her style, she still fashions her own unique sound.
